County roundup results in 20 arrests; more still sought
On Thursday, Pearl River County Sheriff's Office (PRCSO) Narcotics Investigators along with Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics (MBN), US Marshals, and the Mississippi Department of Corrections conducted an operation across Pearl River County.
Over the past months members of the PRCSO Narcotics Division and Agents with MBN made numerous controlled purchases of illegal narcotics from suspects across PRC. Suspects targeted in this investigation are mid – to street level drug dealers.
During this investigation, approximately (59) felony arrest warrants were secured for (20) suspects, and an additional 11 suspects were added by the MDOC and PRCSO for subjects that have absconded. The majority of sales cases involve the sale of heroin, methamphetamine, and or prescription narcotics.
