Pearl River County Sheriff's Department makes drug related arrests and recovers a stolen vehicle
On April 30, 2018, Patrol Deputies with the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department, along with Narcotic Investigators with the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department and the Picayune Police Department, were conducting a traffic safety checkpoint at the intersection of Rock Ranch Road and George Ford Road according to Sheriff David Allison.
During the checkpoint, Brad Daigrepont, age 39, of 57 East Ridge Drive, Carriere, approached the checkpoint in his vehicle, and as investigators were speaking with him, they observed a set of digital scales with Methamphetamine residue in plain view on the passenger seat. Investigators requested Daigrepont to exit the vehicle and a search of the vehicle yielded a large amount of Methamphetamine. Daigrepont was arrested and a search warrant for his residence was obtained according to Sheriff Allison.
When the search warrant was executed at Daigrepont's residence, investigators made contact with his girlfriend, identified as Brooxie L. Moran. During the search, investigators found a large amount of Methamphetamine concealed in a safe, twenty-six firearms on the premises, homemade firearm silencers being made in the garage area of the residence, LSD, Adderall, and several other items associated with the distribution of Methamphetamine.
Both Daigrepont and Moran were arrested for Trafficking Methamphetamine. Daigrepont was also arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance (LSD and Adderall). Moran had a felony warrant on her being held by St. Bernard Sheriff’s Department in Louisiana and a hold was placed on her.
In another report from Sheriff Allison, a suspect with a stolen vehicle from Harrison County, MS, was apprehended.
