Boys: Picayune 43 Pearl River Central 35

Pearl River Central led 9-4 after the 1st quarter and 20-13 at the half.

Picayune made 4 three pointers in the 3rd quarter (Seth Stockstill with 2, Derai Jones, and Jalen Hall) to outscore the Blue Devils 14-4 and take a 27-24 lead.

Picayune led 32-31 with 3 minutes to play and the Maroon Tide closed out the game with a 11-4 run.

Derai Jones had 13 points to lead the Maroon Tide while Connor Tynes scored 8 points for PRC.

Picayune led 14-5 after the first quarter. PRC outscored Picayune 17-2 in the second quarter to take a 22-16 lead at halftime.

PRC extended to lead to 36-28 at the end of the third quarter.

Payton Lee led PRC with 18 points and Breyanna Bernard added 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Deniya Freeman led Picayune with 13 points and Kylah Walker added 12 points.
