PRCC set to host MACCC tournaments

POPLARVILLE, Miss. — Pearl River Community College is hosting the MACCC's men's and women's basketball tournaments inside Marvin R. White Coliseum on Feb. 21-24.

The women will begin the four-day tournament Monday with games at 1 p.m., 3 p.m. 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The men will follow the same schedule Tuesday.

Tickets are $10 per day and can be purchased at PRCCAthletics.com/tickets.

All games will be livestreamed for free at PRCCMedia.com/gold.

ABOUT THE WILDCATS PRCC earned the right to host the tournaments by winning the MACCC men's regular season title. Additionally, PRCC's women also earned the No. 1 seed by claiming their first league title since 1994.

PRCC's men (19-2 overall; 14-0) open the tournament against "Cat Fight" rival Jones College at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The PRCC women (19-4, 12-2) face Northwest at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
