TheFirst makes donation to Early Childhood Program

The Picayune School Board of Trustees accepted a donation in the amount of $100,000.00 at Tuesday’s meeting from TheFirst.

Whitney Bowen, representing TheFirst, said her bank wanted to make the donation to the district to support the Early Childhood Program due to the wonderful things the program provides.

Program Director Dr. Pamela Thomas (on the right in photo) accepted the check on behalf of the district and thanked Ms. Bowen and TheFirst for the support of this donation and last year's donation as well.
